7. Looking back at your preliminary task what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
One of the main things I had picked up since my preliminary task was that camera movements and angles have a big impact on clips to create a desired meaning for the audience. As my preliminary task was very simple and consisted on a few angle I learnt that my production varied on different shots which helped me realize how it changed the meaning to what is being revealed on screen.
From the preliminary task I also feel I have learnt a major amount about filming and directing clips of films. The preliminary task was based in one setting which was easily done and was done in a quick time period but to create couple quick scenes of a film in different locations was much more time consuming. from our preliminary task we learnt that to get a desired meaning of something else from what’s being revealed on screen it has to be done with the different soundings added to the scene and with the chosen characters and their placement so mostly learnt about miss en scene. I also learnt it is not easy to go out there and make a 2 minutes clip compared to a 30 second clip they differentiate in a major amount. Picking one setting for the preliminary task was by far easier then actually creating a 2 minutes piece of work.
